DEFINITION
Mature Size (M.S.): Plants reach maturity and capable to flower within a
year
Near Mature Size (N.M.S.): Plants almost reach maturity, but require 12-18
months to flower
Seedling Size (S.S.): Young plants, need at least 24 months or more to
reach maturity

GENERAL TERMS
This offering cancels all previous quotes, listings. and
catalog offers. All offerings are subject to availability and prices are
subject to change without notice. Please list all address information as
requested. We require your zip code, daytime telephone number and a street
number address. Your order cannot be shipped if this information is not
completed. Payment must be made prior to shipment and may be made by, Money
Order, Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover. Sorry, we do not
accept C.O.D. orders.
Orders are filled in the sequence in which they are received.
Occasionally shipments may be delayed pending more moderate weather
conditions. All offerings are subject to prior sale. We reserve the right
to withdrawal any offering from sale and to limit quantities. We guarantee
all plants to be true to identity. We make no warranty as to the
productiveness of any plants sold. Our responsibility shall be limited to
the purchase price, in any case.
SHIPPING
All plants are sent in pots, unless specified
otherwise by customer. This will insure better adjustment to a different
growing environment. Although we do our utmost to pack carefully, we are
not responsible for damage to buds or flowers. Safe arrival of a healthy
orchid plant is guaranteed. Shipping is generally done Monday through
Wednesday via Federal Express Economy 2nd Business unless otherwise
requested. In such case, customer assumes all liability/additional charge
for shipping other than recommended by Norman's Orchid Nursery. Please Make Note
Of Alternative Shipping On Your Order Form.
The only orders that ship the same day are items from the gift baskets
and arrangements section. If an order is placed before 1:00PM pacific time,
items from gift baskets and arrangements section ship that day(subject to FedEx shipping rules). For FEDEX2Day
service, shipments are made only Monday--Wednesday. For Friday deliveries
(on orders placed on Thursday), FEDEX Overnight service must be used. For
Saturday Deliveries, FEDEX Priority Overnight must be used. No deliveries
are possible on Sundays and Holidays when FEDEX is closed. All other plant
orders take 5-7 business days to process.
All shipments are foam weather sealed to aid in protection from heat and
cold. Most non-gift baskets and arrangement orders will be shipped within
(1) week of receipt depending on weather. Damage / Shipment Delay Should
your box not arrive within the maximum air travel time within the U.S. of 48 hours after the flight leaves Ontario International Airport,
please contact us. Due to the fragile nature of living plants and to
transit conditions over which we have no control, we regret we cannot be
held responsible for possible damage occurred in transit.

Shipping And Packing Charges
General charges from same sub-total of order are 5% for packing and 10%
for shipping, with a minimum of $15.99.
PHYTOSANITARY
CERTIFICATE
Shipments to Hawaii
requires a phytosanitary certificate to be sent
with each shipment. We will obtain the certificate for the shipments. The
cost is US$51.00. Please note there will be approx. two weeks delay in
shipping, due to processing. Hawaii
residents must also include a copy of import permit, or indicate this
number on order form. Other US
territories including Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin
Islands will need the certificate for shipments as well.
DISCOUNTS
All discounts are applied to the SUB-TOTAL of the MERCHANDISE purchased,
and NOT towards shipping, handling, or any other charges applied.
DISCOUNTS ARE APPLIED TO WEB ORDERS ONLY!
Because of greater processing costs, discounts are not applied to orders
taken by phone. Discounts are NOT redeemable at the Nursery, any orchid
show/sale, or with any other offering other than this on-line catalog.
Discounts DO NOT APPLY to any purchase of AWARDED plant divisions.

5% - $150.00 to $300.00
10% - $301.00 to $750.00
15% - $751.00 and up
